In a resounding victory, North Carolina Senate Leader Dan Blue won reelection to the N.C. State Senate’s 14th District. Sen. Blue captured a decisive 73.44% of the vote, defeating Republican candidate Angela McCarty, who received 23.69%, and Libertarian Sammy Brooks, who trailed with 2.87%.
Since joining the state Senate in 2009, Sen. Blue has been a consistent advocate for North Carolina’s communities and has worked tirelessly to promote solutions to the challenges facing families statewide.
